After four months in RIDE IT OUT mode, we are starting to see life slowly return back to normal in Tokyo. We are excited the Cutlet Sandwich and Butcher's Kitchen are now open and it feels great to be back. Since we cannot travel internationally yet, we will keep pushing from home for now! 

A number of exciting projects are in the works, we are looking forward to sharing them with you soon. Even if you can't get to Japan yet, you can still join us online and cook with WAGYUMAFIA at home, using our favourite equipment like the VERMICULAR CAST IRON and the recently released WAGYUMAFIA BUTCHER KNIFE.

For our RIDE IT OUT project, we supported our uni supplier with three UNI NIGHTS and now we will do the same with tuna! Mr. Yukitaka Yamaguchi, Yamayuki CEO aka King of Tuna, is the #1 tuna wholesaler in Toyosu fish market. Mr. Yamaguchi will provide one whole tuna from Aomori, flown in on Taka's Honda Jet.

As such, we are creating a rare opportunity to experience SHOKUDO YAMAYUKI. In this special three-restaurant, one-session experience, Yamayuki's head chef of Hibachi, our good friend Kotaro Nakajima of Kutan and myself will prepare Yamayuki's magnificent tuna together. It will be an unmissable night for tuna lovers.

MASHI NO MASHI TOKYO celebrated its grand public opening on 26 June! Next week on 15 July we host our collaboration with MOHICAN RAMEN, who visit us from Kyushu with their highly popular tonkatsu ramen which we will make with our wagyu bone stock for the most delectable 
¥10,000 ramen.

Our legendary WAGYUJIRO FESTIVAL, a day-long event of our 100% wagyu ramen, continues on the 26th of each month. At Mashi No Mashi Hong Kong, the famous WAGYUJIRO DRY NIGHT returns on 24 and 25 July. If you are in HK, get your hands on this specialty ramen, it only comes once a month!

YAKINIKUMAFIA is riding it out in Hong Kong, selling out its 250 spaces every month. The response has been amazing and we thank you for your incredible support. If you experience our OZAKI WAGYU PLATE, tag me and tell me what you think!

Due to popular demand, we have decided to make our UNI NIGHT a regular, monthly occurrence at WAGYUMAFIA HONG KONG on 17 and 18 July, and WM BY WAGYUMAFIA on July 21. Enjoy the best varieties of uni with our signature wagyu.

We are going strong and we hope you are too. I am ready to see my friends around the world, but until then, please stay safe, be positive and let's keep going!
