VOICE OF THE MONTH

I hope you are well and staying safe. Here in Tokyo, we are emerging from a summer of crazy uncertainty yet with new inspiration and excitement for the future.

As you may recall, we recently launched WAGYUMAFIA TV, our new platform for our video content. Here we will share video updates, cooking tutorials and more for you to enjoy and learn from!

While we cannot travel outside of Japan, for now we gain inspiration from within. Together with Taka, we started the WAGYUMAFIA JETSET JAPAN project where we take Taka's Honda Jet to hidden gems throughout Japan. In the last week we visited Toyama, Fukuoka and Ishikawa to check out amazing master artisans in coffee, porcelain, ramen, green tea and more. There are so many incredible craftsmen and women who we want to highlight so stay tuned for the new videos.

Our RIDE IT OUT Project is still going strong! In case you missed it, we hosted a rare and monumental night with the King of Tuna himself, Mr. Yukitaka Yamaguchi, Yamayuki CEO, who graced us with the most beautiful tuna flown in from Aomori.

We kick off August with a brand new collaboration for our apparel brand CHATEAUBRIAND. We have teamed up with the iconic Japanese sunglass brand OWNDAYS to produce a very special OWNDAYS x CHATEAUBRIAND collection featuring two styles built with exceptional materials for a simple yet luxurious feel. To celebrate, we'll be hosting three exciting evenings of dining with legendary sushi chefs Teruzushi and Hatano Yoshiki, and concluding with OWNDAYS president Shuji Tanaka.

In Hong Kong, we are going strong and adapting each day. I'm super proud to share our new YAKINIKUMAFIA AT HOME set which includes everything you need to enjoy YAKINIKUMAFIA at home, even the grill! It's pretty amazing so you won't want to miss out.

At the end of the month, Mashi No Mashi Hong Kong debuts WAGYUJIRO ICE in Hong Kong for the first time ever. If you're a ramen lover, you will fall in love with this cold shabu shabu style ramen bowl. Save the date for August 22, it will be the perfect meal to end the summer.
